Cheerleaders of Okoboji Winter Games
Ever wondered who those folks are that carry around big colorful letters and sing cheers everywhere they go? That's the University of Okoboji Winter Games Cheerleaders. Every year the public nominates and elects eight local cheerleaders to carry the spirit and enthusiasm to all activities for that one final weekend in January. The Cheerleaders of 2025 harbor a helpful heart and hometown pride that has great influence in their community.

Fireworks of Okoboji
Summertime in Okoboji, Iowa explodes with life, activities, and jobs. A pyrotechnic job falls to Tal, who is tasked weekly with a show that reminds us what it means to be American. Fired from the waters of West Lake, the fireworks draw families and boaters together under the same sky that lights up the lake.
